 Process parameters of continuous casting billet heating furnace:

1. Continuous casting billet size: 6000 (length)× 150 (width) - 150 (thickness)

2. The online speed is higher than 15m/min, and the speed adjustment range is 9~15m/min. The speed of each billet is constant.

3. Temperature distribution

(1) The temperature distribution characteristics of the cross section of the continuous casting billet are as follows: the internal temperature belongs to the high temperature region, with a temperature of 1100 ℃; The outside is a low temperature zone with a temperature of 800 ℃, and the low temperature zone is the part that needs to be raised by 300 ℃.

(2) The temperature distribution characteristics of the head and tail of the continuous casting billet are generally about 50 ℃ lower than the tail temperature.

From the table above, it can be seen that the higher the heating temperature, the more intense the oxidation. The steel billet begins to form iron oxide scales at 600-700 ℃; When the temperature is between 900 and 1000 ℃, the oxidation speed increases and the oxide scale becomes thicker; When the steel temperature is higher than 1200 ℃, the oxidation rate is 10 times that of 800 ℃. Therefore, preventing steel from heating at excessively high temperatures is an important measure to reduce billet oxidation.

Characteristics of continuous casting billet heating furnace:

1. Power supply system: Double rectified 12 pulse or 24 pulse KGPS1000-1000KW single intermediate frequency power supply used independently or multiple power supplies used in parallel. The equipment is installed with dedicated transformers to reduce the impact of harmonics on the power grid. Users can use it safely and reliably.

5. Feeding and guiding system: Each shaft is driven by an independent motor reducer, equipped with a multi shaft drive, and controlled by a single frequency converter to synchronize the multi shaft operation. The components are selected from well-known brands, with reliable quality and stable operation. 304 non magnetic stainless steel guide wheel is used to maintain moderate axial elasticity of the guide wheel to adapt to the bending of the steel billet within the allowable range.

6. The cabinet is made of sand blasting, plastic spraying, and baking paint. The waterways are all thick walled stainless steel. The continuous casting billet heating furnace is corrosion resistant and has a long service life. The equipment is equipped with a large LCD temperature display screen (convenient for on-site personnel to observe and display data).
