How induction heating works?

The principle of Induction heating equipment is mainly based on electromagnetic induction and current thermal effects. When alternating current passes through an induction coil, an alternating magnetic field is generated around it. This alternating magnetic field acts on the heated object (usually a metal), generating induced currents inside the object, known as eddy currents.



When eddy currents flow inside a heated object, a large amount of thermal energy is generated due to the presence of resistance. This thermal energy comes from the interaction between current and the internal resistance of an object, which is known as the current thermal effect. With the increase of eddy current intensity and the extension of time, the temperature of the heated object gradually rises, thereby achieving the heating effect.

Induction heating equipment can control the intensity and distribution of eddy currents by adjusting the frequency and magnitude of the current, thereby achieving precise control of the temperature of the heated object and the heating area. This heating method has the advantages of fast heating speed, high efficiency, energy conservation and environmental protection, and has been widely used in industrial production, food processing and other fields.



It should be noted that induction heating equipment generates strong electromagnetic fields and high temperatures during operation. Therefore, corresponding safety measures must be taken, such as setting up shielding covers, installing protective devices, etc., to ensure the safety of operators and the stable operation of the equipment
